This is the Starchat 40plus Blog site. It’s different to our Discussion Board because it allows more topical discussion and posting of news articles, video etc. People in 40plus have a lot to say a lot of the time, especially about current events and hopefully this Blog site will allow you to freely express your opinions on whatever subject your choose.

Hi everyone,
I really don’t have a lot to say, but i wanted to say hello, and thank Helen for putting this here. I post a lot in other sites, and it will be nice to have one for us 40plussers. I am a conservative Republican, so I’m not sure how many of you will agree with my politics. One thing that is fairly universal is college football. I’m a big OU Sooners fan, and we play our first game of the year Saturday night against UAB. GO OU SOONERS!!!

I am back a year later to say Hi again. The Sooners are playing great, my granddaughter is beautiful and all is well right now with my world. My thoughts and prayers do go out today to all of those affected by the events that happened a few years ago on September 11.
